WASHINGTON (AP) — Children age 5 to 11 will soon be able to get a COVID-19 shot at their pediatrician's office, local pharmacy and potentially even their school, the White House said Wednesday as it detailed plans for the expected authorization of the Pfizer shot for younger children in a matter of weeks.

Federal regulators will meet over the next two weeks to weigh the benefits of giving shots to kids, after lengthy studies meant to ensure the safety of the vaccines.

Within hours of formal approval, expected after the Food and Drug Administration signs off and a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advisory panel meeting scheduled for Nov. 2-3, doses will begin shipping to providers across the country, along with smaller needles necessary for injecting young kids, and within days will be ready to go into the arms of kids on a wide scale.

Public schools giving your kids shots sounds like a great idea and super convenient.

If you want to finally collapse the school system,
this is how you do it.

They are going to let the kids decide without their parents. Watch.

THIS is the hill I will absolutely die on.

I'm currently in the death throes on the fedgov employee mandate hill, so I may not even get to the Kid Hill.

Yet, there is still no mandate for Medicaid recipients to get it

It’s a poolhouse for now, but the reality of it becoming a learning pod is growing by the day.

Are there colleges that don’t require vaccinations to attend still available?

What percentage of our issues with this “pandemic” is because we have unvaccinated 5-12 year olds? Has anyone even tried to postulate this?

Get this. My local college, and many others, are requiring students who not only attend in-person classes to vax, but also ONLINE ONLY students…

I will private school my kids or homeschool them before I ever let them get this shot. It will take us parents to come together and pull our kids out of school for them to realize.

My daughter’s school has been mask optional (virtually no kids are wearing them) since the beginning of this school year. There’s been fewer than 5 cases of Covid in the ~1000 students this year. There’s been zero hospitalizations in her student body the entire pandemic. None in the faculty either.

I don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist. But it’s hard not to be when the numbers don’t make sense.

Ive got neighbors that can't wait to do this to their child. 1 is just waiting for it to become approved for her 9 year old so she can wear it like a badge of liberal honor in the OMB club. The other is a woman who is so scared of this virus, still, that she continues to keep her child in virtual classes and she still socially distances and keeps her family in the house most of the day. It's scary how wacko some people are.
