Man Amazon doesn’t play. There is nothing that they won’t be providing us.
Bye bye family Xmas tree lots.
No more having to go out and get the family tree and strap it to the family SUV.
Capitalism= Amazon

But a live tree is no paperback book. Amazon says the Christmas trees, including Douglas firs and Norfolk Island pines, will be bound and shipped without water in the usual sort of box. Amazon said they'll be sent within 10 days of being cut down, possibly even sooner, and should survive the shipping just fine. Amazon.com said the trees, wreaths and garlands will go on sale in November. Some will qualify for Prime free shipping, and Amazon will offer pre-orders so shoppers can choose a delivery date.

A 7-foot Fraser fir from a North Carolina farm will cost $115, according to an Amazon holiday preview book. Also listed are a $50 wreath and a $25 red-leafed plant with a decorative candy cane speared into the soil.

So now he's raping the environment, too? What a great Democrat.

Funny how these companies play capitalism to the hilt but once they master it, support causes to limit it.
Bezos would love a massive government that he can use to limit his competition

I get mine from Home Depot every year. They're less than $70. I think I paid $55 last year.

People are going to use this service, but I do not know why?
There is no way I would buy a tree unseen. I also bet one will arrive with a dead squirrel

Screw all that mess. Live/Dead/Dying trees are a mess and a fire hazard.

I won’t say in the 5 years will this occur, but It has to be coming.
I mean there are rumblings that Amazon Wants to be how we get our pharmaceuticals as well.
Already in media content, groceries, clothing etc.
What’s next?
Offering mortgages
Building houses and shipping them to us
Selling cars and delivering them to us
This will be very interesting in the coming years as everything that we consume could conceivably come from them.

I've come to view these services as a negative from a social/society cohesive prospective. We're isolating ourselves further and further. I think part of building a community is going to the grocery store, going to the mall, the hardware shop, the liquor store, whatever...the internet is isolating us to the point we won't know our neighbors or our neighborhood. /rant (now back to doing everything on the interwebs )

Not in my family. Picking out a tree is a treasured family tradition.
