Normally i'd be just fine with this by Amazon but Biden first put tariffs on China. Why did Amazon not add this feature then?
Trump placed tariffs on China in 2019, Biden left them in place.

My wife orders Amazon regularly.
I noticed months ago that China changed their labeling and label placement to a huge, bold sticker "Made in CHINA" very prominently placed on every item. They want America to know who's making the products they consume.

Yeah this is actually great, would make it super obvious how much junk is coming from China lol.

He sold $12 or $13B, total, last year. He still has well over 800 million shares of Amazon, though. So, to pretend a guy with a ~$160B investment in a company doesn't care what happens there is a little silly.
To ram the point home, are you saying, as are others here, that displaying the "cost of tariffs" next to the total price of products on Amazon was Jeff Bezos's doing?

Of Course he is. This effects his bottom line at the end of the day. frick him I think its great!

Its an admission by the administration that prices are going up and it is directly tied to the tariffs and they do not want us to see that.
You have tons of small businesses that sell on Amazon and they’re going to pass costs along to you, the consumer. That should’ve been obvious and please remember that it isn’t just Chinese products that will be impacted as deals aren’t finalized in time and the 90 day pause expires.

No, Biden increased existing tariffs and added new ones on China. He did it as recently as 9/24 but did it multiple times during his term.

Amazon should also list the "Savings" that we receive due to the use of Slave & Child Labor.

Obviously Jassey is the CEO (who does work for the board of directors).
Who is the (Executive) Chairman of the Board of Amazon?

Maybe all of Amazon's competitors should display the price if Amazon wouldn't have messed them up.

“This is hostile and political act by Amazon,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a press briefing.
It isn't a hostile act. It's displaying the truth. The White House should be overjoyed that the tariff taxes on Americans are proudly displayed on every invoice.
How else are we to know which products to avoid?

It's not a hostile act. It's price transparency and comparing it to market inflation is economically retarded.
Amazon could either hide these costs in inflated prices, or they could show the exact impact and educate the consumer on the impact of tariffs. It's a good business decision, considering their competitors may just raise their baseline prices. Separating them implies prices will go down when the tariffs are removed.

Can't be calculated. Plus, who cares where savings come from? Lower prices is good for the consumer.

Why, Ace, that would be Jeff Bezos, who is (not coincidentally) Amazon's founder and largest individual shareholder.
