Don't forget that boomer RE dump will only speed up in the next 4-5 years, meaning any current RE correction could take longer to recover from than the 2008 crash

People's net worths could take huge hits all while we are still seeing inflation above 2% for 65 straight months and counting

SDV likes to sunshine pump, but at some point even he has to admit there are a lot of stress areas that so far have only been held together by bend, but don't break, government intervention.

I hope we navigate out of it, but I also think the majority of this has been caused by Powell's try for a soft landing bullshite, so I am not sure if keeping that same mindset is good or not.

No. That’s the point. Instead of lowering spending/debt, they’re willing to sacrifice the middle class to refinance the debt at a lower rate so they can keep spending.

The money printer will eventually be running 24/7 too. Better have some assets and/or gold, IMO.

Look up what a K-shaped economy is, and you’ll realize we’re in one, and the gap will keep growing as long as the can kicking continues.

But you would trust MAGABarbiePatriot90210 if it was good news that you agree with no matter even if it was 100% bullshite.

Trump and his merry band of homosexuals in his Admin are running out of ideas.

It goes back further than that and Trump 1.0, even without the Covid money printing, shares blame.

I know you are economic genius BUT if they raise interest or if yields continue to increase then the 40 trillion in debt will become significantly higher without spending another dime. Surely you grasp the basic premise of paying higher interest? Not only would it grow US debt payments but it would also increase cc rates, mortgage rates, personal loan rates, etc. The problem with so much debt is there are few options to counter growing inflation and the options we do have aren’t good ones

Just imagine how the admin that banned him feels that his decision was turned around in less than a month, for SFP

Ouch

Interest rates will continue to increase until we get our fiscal house in order.

These gimmicks will no longer work.

Let that sink in.

Truly standing behind your admins. But like the justice system, there are two different tiers of justice.

Yeah

It really amped up with the GFC at the end of GWB and then again with Trump in 2020.

Obama and then Biden didn't help following each. Now Trump 2 isn't.

It's all can kicking and has been since 2008

Yep. It seems we have reached a point where markets shrug off intervention and do so quickly

The leak this morning by CNBC about the TGA fund being used flattened (short-end yields up, long-end down) the curve, but we will see how long that lasts
