Let me give a real work example of this from a die hard Bernie supporter (not me--read below):
Jon Fishman, the drummer for the band Phish (of which I am a fan), traded in his usual blue moo moo dress with red "O"'s on it for one with red outlines of Bernie's head during the Dem primaries.
Jon Fishman is worth around $100 million, and your average Phish fan is so broke they can't even pay attention! (Not uncle Marco though).
He is the exact person that his wonderful Bernie wants to tax the shite out of! And he makes his millions off broke arse phish heads!
I get it that they share the same home state of Vermont, but this makes no sense.

That's because all that Bernie possesses has been "given" to him because he hasn't really worked in the private sector at all. He thinks that billionaires must have been given too much to accumulate that much wealth, and thus it needs to be redistributed.
