just simply because they are wealthy. I am watching this confirmation hearing on the education secretary and he asked her if she was;t a billionaire does she think she would be sitting here. It is amazing to me how democrats hate wealthy people that area actually successful but they are ok with democrats being rich from exploiting poor people.

When Bernie gives 2 of his 3 homes away to a homeless person, I might take him seriously.

That first question from him made me angry. If she's been successful and made a lot of money, it's her right to choose how it's spent. Quit hating success.

She has done more for education than that piece of shite has ever done for anything in his entire life.

She has not made her money. She was born wealthy and she married into wealth. She has never held a job in private industry that did not have family connections.

Plus he is right. If she was working in War-Mart and held the same views she wouldn't be nominated for Secretary of Education.

Typical liberal. Create a hypothetical situation, then attack that situation.

Oh you fricking piece of shite.

If all her money is family money she is one step above our current SecState, who married into his.

ALMOST ALL of obama's cabinet never hed a job in the private sector in their ENTIRE LIVES.

NOW it matters.

You could say that about most people in positions of power or influence. It doesn't matter, though. Being wealthy and coming from privilege also means that a person has a greater likelihood of getting a good education, work experience, or other opportunities to do good than others without such wealth or influence could.

You could argue that her position in life has made her more qualified.

Regardless, if she earned every cent she has or married into it, it doesn't matter. It's her legal property. That's something Marxists hate: property rights.

Because that woman had zero qualifications for the position. Did you ever consider that fact? She is there simply because she inherited wealth.

Uh yes she has. She and her husband founded a major corporation in 1989 that has grown and been quite successful.

And yes she is qualified to be Secretary of Education. She's served on numerous education and education reform committees as either chairwoman or a member over the last three decades. Some of her ideas have been enacted as policy in several states.

So who's money did she make? She didn't have a job? If I work for my grandfather's company, I'm not making my own money?

How on earth? So who's money am I making? Pretty sure the check goes to me.

Well. I'd sure hope we wouldn't appoint a Walmart worker to secretary of education. But nice bullshite hypothetical. You're pathetic.

Old burns is a rabid, mentally deranged, liberal idiot that's been conning the libtards for years. They're just flat out too stupid to even see it. Typical of a mentally deranged creature.

You are by far the dumbest of the lefties on this board. Every argument you try to make is laughable. Wtf does your worthless hypothetical have to do with anything?

And none of them have worked. It is ideology over evidence. There are several studies on the results the for-profit charter schools she pushed for in Detroit. The results are not any better than the previous school's results.

Or, if she was a democrat, she could collude to help make you fail in an election Bernie, and you wouldn't whisper a mumble of protest, being a good cuck and all.
