Benny Johnson Drops Truth Bombs Regarding Obama....

Not the biggest Benny Johnson fan (his stuff tends to be a little too "light" for me), but he's more impressive here while appearing on somebody else's podcast. He should be more like this on his own channel.
1) Yes, Obama did essentially choose Hillary over Joe Biden to be the nominee in 2016.
2) Yes, unlike all other former Presidents, Obama only moved 5 blocks away from the White House when he left in 2017. When you are groomed for years to do a particular job, you do it for a lifetime.
3) Yes, Obama finally chose Biden in 2020.
4) Yes, Obama took Biden out of the race in 2024, although he didn't want Kamala. Obama wanted an open convention, but Brandon pulled a screw job of his own and endorsed Kamala when he announced he was dropping out of the race. Brandon was supposed to have played the role of "good soldier" and call for an open convention.
5) And yes, the George Clooney op-ed piece was also orchestrated by Obama. That's why Clooney was furious when he took heat after the election and his "pal" Obama didn't come forward to take him off the hook.
And just for the record, I don't believe for one second that A) they will overturn the 22nd Amendment or B) that we will ever see a Trump/Obama race in 2028. I think that's all smoke-and-mirrors.
PS - I forgot to include the comment Obama made where he said that he would love to be behind the scenes, pulling the strings of the "official" President. Well, he got his wish in 2020 and tried to orchestrate the same situation in 2024 (only not with Kamala).

If he was pulling Biden’s strings why didn’t he pull the one that would have biden advocate an open convention?
Obama was not the power behind Biden’s throne. The people who have that power have it by virtue of what they can command, and Obama could not command much, as we see when it came to picking Biden’s successor. Biden had the true power; that’s why we got Kamala. And when Biden was asleep his cabinet had the power, not Obama.
We had this argument all during the Biden Administration - who was the power behind the throne. Most on here said it was Obama; I said it was Biden and Biden’s Cabinet. The choice of Kamala settled that argument. In truth, it should have been settled long before, because there is no way in the world Obama was stupid enough to allow that level of mass illegal immigration when polls were screaming that the American people were against it.

Oh, I get what they say. I just don’t agree with it. Biden wasn’t “supposed” to do anything he didn’t want to do. They could not make him because they had no power over him; never did.

Compare it to Game Of Thrones.
Biden was Joffrey the puppet king. He was supposed to spare a particular noble and have them stripped of all lands and titles. Instead he called an audible and had him executed.
In Biden’s case, they made him pull out of the race but he called the audible by endorsing Kamala and boxed them into supporting her on his way out the door as a “frick you.”

You don’t understand the power dynamics of the WH, which is remarkable because they are extremely simple.
Remember when the left was saying Musk was the real power? Ridiculous! Why? Because the power of the Presidency is literally vested in the President. You can get around that sort of thing in Russia, for example, because Putin can kill the President. But in the US, where that is not a threat, there is no way to divest the President of his power.
The President’s power can be delegated. And if the President is unable to exercise power (Biden at times) then the power goes to those in control of the institutions of the Executive branch.
Obama could have soft-power over that if he wasn’t term limited, but he is. Obama was no threat to anybody in Biden’s administration, so he had no power.

Biden had been cognitively compromised since at least the 2020 campaign and had occasional bouts of clarity.
Someone like that can’t fully take advantage of the office but either he or someone like Dr Jill in the inner circle could pull something off by sneaking it in under the radar before the people who had handled him since 2020 could realize it.

Benny Johnson is one "go-to" propagandist "news source" for "our side", routinely releasing recycled common knowledge, the GOP narrative, or misdirection.

If you remember, Obama was late in endorsing Kamala because he wanted better options out there and he knew that Kamala was probably the least desirable. But, Biden had picked up huge money, and really, only he or the campaign could use it. No way were the donors going to throw out an extra billion on top of the billion+ already out there to a guy like Newsom or whomever with 100 days to go with no guarantee and no campaign infrastructure in place.
The donors were not about to bankrupt themselves and commit suicide. The DNC was not about to either, so they figured taking a beating this round was preferrable.
