I’m 63, I remember real instances of racial slurs being tossed about….I’m skeptical of the severity of the racist story from QB Burrow. Did some idiot say something stupid? Probably, but to turn this shite into a some defining moment in Joe’s fight for racial equality is so NFL today.

I was born and raised in Boston and the black/white resentment is far more prevalent there than in the south.

I remember in early 2018 a few of my black coworkers were skeptical of his race creds. There was the negative story of some older tweet circulating.... he was a raciss ....they were all in on that narrative.

I'm all for standing up to ANY injustice against my fellow man.
But until a certain segment starts policing themselves and stop protecting criminals, it'll fall on deaf ears.

And it's usually just a handful of bad characters. I just have a hard time believing there are many communities that are just openly racists towards blacks. Not even the Jasper/Vidor Texas area is nearly as bad as it used to be and we are only 24 years removed from a black man being drug behind a truck there. Vidor was the home of the KKK for years. Now....nothing.
As much as Dems don't want to admit it, organized mass white on black racism doesnt exist on mass scales.

Yeah used to live not far from there but haven't been back in years. Racism definitely still exists but as I said most people aren't out in the open about it. The consequences of being openly racist in today's society are pretty damning.
