The Trump era has taught me a lot about human nature. Shapiro is an intellectual heavyweight, I give him that. But he also has the constitution of a person who pre 2020 election said things like "Donald Trump is the most successful conservative in a generation" to being a J6 crybaby, to being a Ronbot, to all aboard the Trump train again. I don't necessarily hold any of that against him, nor do I think he is being disingenuous. But my point is, there are very few people who have strength in their convictions - most are just reacting to the way the wind shifts.

It really is straight from the Trump playbook. 1) Create or give the illusion of chaos 2) convince people that you’re the one capable of fixing it 3) screw everything up 4) scapegoat someone else for it. Repeat
