Trump wants a BBB passed ... any BBB. This is a BBB. Therefore, this must be passed.

It's that simple.

If the Senate rally added $1.3 trillion to the deficit as reported then I hope it fails. That's fricking pathetic

I believe the did... some sort of sketchy wrap-around amendment at the last minute.

We don't need a BBB. We need single issue bills. Nothing more.

Adds 3.3 trillion to the national debt over the next decade actually

No. House had 2.2 trillion. Senate, instead of cutting, just piled more on.

It's bullshite

He’s saying the senate added 1.3T over 10 years to the bill in their version.

Also, that is a CBO estimate that does not take into account any soft benefits that could come from the bill. If the tax cuts work and all the extra spending adds to more people paying taxes in the long run, then how could you possibly estimate the true value….thats why the CBO just utilizes real time data vs the bill.

I’m not a huge fan of the bill at all either, but this is better than nothing right now

Sounds like Trump has some new options for a new ambassador to Iran.

I was just mentioning the total amount the BBB will add to the national debt after the Senate amended it. The bill being voted on will add 3.3 trillion to the debt.

For deficit hawks this bill is a slap in the face

Why all the self flagellating over this piece of legislation. I've seen Bill after Bill come down the hill in my life and nothing ever changes. More tax, less tax it matters not.
I will keep going to work, hire a bright cpa and figure out how to make it work in my favor.

We will discuss this to death. Smart money always finds a way.

That is correct.

A couple of the no’s are saying “You need to give me something to change my vote when it comes time to vote on the bill.”

They are gonna have to pass this bill, the tax increase would be crippling to,the economy. Got to,hope, the economic growth out runs the shortfall, and they can get a second bite at it through cuts in future legislation and exec orders by Trump.
