She should move to Israel and list in the army. October 7 was evil but the Israelis repaid evil with greater evil.
Annex all the territory and give the Palis the choice of Israeli citizen and oath of allegiance or a plane ride to somewhere else. I’m tired of the US being dragged into an issue that could be solved in a few weeks.

bullshite. The only genocide was that of Israelis on October 7. Israelis went after military targets. Targets Hamas stuck by schools and hospitals so dupes like you would scream Israeli genocide. It wasn't the Israelis who clubbed babies to death, massacred kids at a concert, raped women, killed them, then paraded their naked bodies or stabbed them in their genitals.
Israelis were much nice than I would have been. I would have gone full Roman on them. Carpet bomb some areas. For every baby clubbed or strangled to death by Hamas, well, you get the idea.
They are a savage people who attack everyone anywhere they are. They killed the PM of Jordan and tried to overthrow the country. They tore apart Lebanon and created Hezbollah. They joined up with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. They helped Saddam when he conquered Kuwait. They took all the aid given them since they took over in 2005 and used it to create a war machine to wipe out Jews. They took water pipes and instead of using for infrastructure, they used them for missile launchers. They hijack food and starve their own people or sell it on the black market.
They were offered 97% of the land they wanted and rejected it. They literally beg for destruction.

I think October 7 matters to America, in a sense. I do not think October 7 has to be some part of American lore in the way that she and others probably want to reinforce. It's a major geopolitical/terrorist topic and it matters to us, and the fallout also matters to us (both the leftist reaction and the Israeli military response).
But I object to the idea that Americans should invite or accept a constant barrage of "we are inseparably intertwined and you must view this like you'd view an attack on yourselves" from those hyper focused on Israeli or Jewish issues generally. I do not want American Senators spending 40% of their public engagement on Jewish-specific or Israeli issues (Cruz, Scott, etc.)
We need a reset of this ideology/impulse. That doesn't mean we can't identify with Israel in the conflict, etc. - but candidly there is so much chaff and piled on inferences in the American-Israeli dynamic that we're operating primarily on inertia at this point.

I don't think Oct 7th resonates with non Jewish Americans the way 9/11 did but it was still a pretty stark reminder of exactly what our enemies would gladly do to us as well, if given the chance. The same forces that want to destroy Israel also want to destroy the entire western world, including the US. Some people may not like that fact but its indisputable.
