As Twitchy reported Thursday morning, the FBI and IRS raided Pugh’s two homes, Baltimore City Hall, her attorney’s office, and other locations.

Now her attorney is saying that Mayor Pugh is not “lucid” enough to decide whether or not she should resign, but might do so next week. LINK

Gov Coonman didn't resign. Why would she?

Well no one came out saying he's to stupid to comprehend the situation. She may be waiting for others to be get thrown under the bus to help her out.

The smartest guy in VA was the 3rd guy (LT Gov?) that just threw his one thing in the pile to get it out of the way. Dude just cleared his path over the AG black guy. Classic. Essentially this mayors attorney said she's to dumb to figure out how to spin it in her favor. Ha.

Much of the shame falls on the electorate. They deserve no better if they don't expect any better.

If only she were a white liberal.. she could bring out an old picture of herself in black face, and refuse to resign.

I was just reading that apparently she "sold" 10s of thousands of her Healthy Holly children's books to local entities but local media can barely find any copies at all.

Yep.

Here’s a quick refresher for those who haven’t been following our coverage of Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh. Pugh announced April 1 that she was taking a leave of absence after an investigation into her self-published line of “Healthy Holly” children’s books began to hit paydirt. It turns out the University of Maryland Medical System purchased $500,000 worth of “Health Holly” books — while Pugh was sitting on UMMS’s board.

Other unopened boxes of thousands of unsolicited “Healthy Hobby” books were also tracked down to a school district warehouse which was kept off-limits to reporters. It seems the mayor had a built-in audience for her self-published books, consisting mainly of people who might need a favor from the mayor’s office.

It's a little ironic to me that other media outlets are not bringing down the MSM, it's the people themselves that the MSM is promoting that is disgracing the integrity of the MSM.

Over the last several years, it appears that the publishing industry has become one of the default money laundering bribery schemes out there.

Bottom line

A city the size of Baltimore having a graduate of friggin Morgan State who accomplished basically nothing of note before entering politics is an absurdity and they deserve whatever the frick they get for electing her
