The Russians won't give Ukraine up. Kinda like giving up Mexico so Russia could install nukes there.
Yah it's like universally understood strategy throughout history only now the west is so idiotocally woke we can't appreciate their perspective and God forbid we try seeing it from their point of view in a good faith attempt. Today's liberals are bloody incapable of that rational thought experiment. It's hopeless.
It's why the NPC meme is devastating... because it's TRUE and every clear thinking person knows it.

Yup. Wish more baws were a bit more educated on this war.
If they were, they wouldn't support our involvement at all.

For all practical purposes, Bakhmut has been a lost cause for several weeks. Ukraine has been disputing loss of the city because they were still in possession of a sewer pipe or two.

There are energy weapons that disorient you, make you vomit, and sadly shite yourself. It does not have to be lethal. Round you up for re-education and slavery maintaining infrastructure. Something to look forward to.

Ukraine isn't meant to win this. Just bleed out Russia as much as they can.
So the U.S. is committing genocide via a proxy war? Tell me again, who are the good guys?

It is a necessary evil at this point. Russia has attacked someone I think 7 times since 2014. Do you think they are stopping with Ukraine?

This is true. However, over the last few days, even pro-Ukraine channels have admitted that Ukraine controlled less than 1% of the town and that was hard to defend houses on the outskirts.
How do you keep getting money if you don’t report bad news? How much was it that Biden just pledged to send?

How many governments of our strategic neighbors have they overthrown?

Let’s see; Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
That’s five.

Why don't they? Are they having too much fun, or something?
I mean, frick all this fighting in the south, Putin should've just sent his army on an end around and just swept out of the north and taken Kyiv and ended the whole thing in a week. Surely the Ukrainian army could never stand up to the full might of the Russian army in an all-out offensive, right?
Putin did that at the start of his two week "special operation." There were three columns of tanks with a combined strength of around 1,000 MBT's. However, the ground was too soft and they had to go to a single paved road which resulted in a massive month long traffic jam while under fire.

As he should, his nation is fighting a hated enemy for their very existence. A brutal enemy that had killed millions of Ukrainians over time. He is doing exactly what he needs to be doing.
That is a very big factor in the will to fight.

It is easy for some to ignore or be ignorant of that history, but for Ukraine it is still in living memory. Stalin "exiled" millions of "wealthy" peasant farmers who were never seen again. Then he took all of the grain to sell to the West for cash starving millions more to death.

I know one thing, the Ukranian govt should never trust the USA again going forward.

We have rallied to their side as promised. Perhaps not as decisively as they wanted, but not lije Chamberlain and company did with Czecheoslovokia.
And it’s not only the Ukraine who received assurances ftom the US. So have others, and they are also watching this.

Judging from the percent of GDP the European countries have refused to put in NATO to make them compliant, Id say they arent worried about it. So pray tell what is the US so desperate to spend money for?????
By the way, care to count the number of countries we have staged coups in the last couple of decades, including our own?

When did you go to Ukraine?
Iirc, you are a veteran.
If so, has your time in the military impacted your view?
