Yes. It's funny that the South has a long history of pursuing truly repugnant political aims while simultaneously misrepresenting any attempt at social progress as Radical and Commie.
Obviously, this isn't new. Same institutions, too. I bet we can find a Bob Jones Uni official quoted from within the last five years saying virtually the same thing about some hyper Tea Party type, dressing up bigotry and backwardness as common sense.

The people that think in this day and age that a company would freely discriminate on a large scale are fricking morons. Now a single person who doesn't want to make a cake should have the freedom to refuse service to anyone.

Yeah, I'm the problem here
If a private business implements a policy of not serving Black or Gay folk...they will lose my business. But it's up to (individual) Black and Gay folk to remain above board; that I can defend them in good conscience.
If Blacks want to live in an EQUAL America...great, I respect them (as a group). If they want DOUBLE STANDARDS applied in the form of 'affirmative action' and a cultural/behavioral pass, or they want to walk in a private business with their arse hangin out their pants...they (if the group concurs) lose my respect and support. And I'll support any business that bans them (their character, as defined by their behavior).
Same with Gays. Be respectful...earn respect. Get in the face of some individual or group, to FORCE acceptance of YOUR pov - especially in Religion - and they will lose my respect. And any business that bans provocative, overt sexual behavior in their premises...will get my support. Keep your kinky sexual inclinations/eccentricities in your bedroom.
But we all know that you won't support my freedom to do so, rob...you prefer to use YOUR Authoritarian version of government, to FORCE your beliefs on me, and them who oppose you.
You are indeed "the problem". But by no means a new one.

Question: Over the past few years, libs have screamed up and down that they will not force churches to perform homosexual "marriages". How is the response to bills like this anything but preparation for forcing churches to perform homosexual "marriages"?

Good. Business managers should have the right to make business decisions. Let the market determine the winners and losers and not government.

What if a black restaurant doesn't want to serve Mexicans, are they protected under this law?
Would a gay bar that doesn't allow Asians to rainbow out be protected as well?
If so, those signs you keep posting from when most of us didn't exist are irrelevant, as minorities are protected in this bill, as well as the white devil.

But America has never been equal to blacks and whites. At no point in our nation's history have blacks ever approached anything close to the quality of life standards of any other group except Native Americans. That's a few centuries of dying earlier, being incarcerated more often, owning less property, and being less educated. Any indicator you can think of will show that throughout the duration of our nation's history, blacks have been our untouchable caste.
So where's the double standard, really?

Sounds like the Booker T. Washington vs. WEB DuBois debates about the black community. Booker T said to disregard the white hatred for blacks. Work hard and they'll have no other choice but to respect you. DuBois said all black community needed to do to get respect is merely demand it.
Care to guess which one I consider a hero, and which one is a punk?

In the utopian america that is so desired by the authoritarian statist, all your art work from thenceforth will be gay art. You will only paint gay art. No more Louisiana landscapes unless it shows two gays frolicking in the cattails. No more French Quarter scenes unless your oil painting reflect men in short shorts at decadence. The state has spoken. Deal with it.

Can you please cite which current laws specifically discriminate against blacks?
Are there any real barriers that prevent blacks from attaining an education and property or just perceived barriers? There's a black guy in the White House. A black guy is the most powerful man in the world, therefore your whole argument is irrelevant.

This may be exactly the reason Arizona is getting out in front of it.

So you are equating black american civil rights with the gay "cause"?

Caste discrimination has been illegal in India from the moment of the country's inception. India has affirmative action programs for low caste groups that would make the NAACP blush. There are incredibly powerful low-caste politicians and businessmen.
Ergo, there is no caste discrimination in India. Is that how this works?

So what's your point?

Not at all. You get respect by earning it. I know plenty of gay guys in the IT world who have my respect because they're competent and have a great work ethic. A gay guy dressed as a nun dry humping another gay guy dressed as the Pope in a Gay Pride parade demanding my respect doesn't get any of my respect at all.

Was Woolworth decimated prior to the Greeneville sit-in?
Assuming public outrage, "prior to" is not at issue.
"In response to" or "as a result of" are the pertinent phrases here.
Was Woolworth decimated as a result of the Greensboro sit-ins?
It would have been, had it not changed policy.
