And again, how do you know it happened?

That nonsense about a journalist ending up on the chat was tooooo funny.

Something about how when he was added to the meeting it was because another person had the same initials and that is how he mistakenly got added.

No one asked "Okay at your level you have over a thousand contacts on your phone........and you save them all with two initials?"

Its hilarious some of you fall for this nonsense over and over. From the NYT who has lied to you from russian pissers to joe biden in mensa condition.

And yet here we are.

Hegseth on a group chat describing f-18 strikes to his wife and others. Yeah that sounds real. ....real funny

I’m not claiming any of it. Someone asked me what the facts (allegations) of the story were.

My initial point was that the statement was not a denial of the allegations. Just an attempt to downplay the seriousness, shift the focus, and attack the source.

I will say this, Musk and crew have been digging in the Pentagon for a few weeks now.....and nothing public like with other offices.

Seems to me they must have found some very alarming things, hence all this nonsense coming out.

Now that makes a lot more sense than these ignorant stories.

And you just keep tripping over your own feet trying to prove a point and failing miserably every time.

CUI is controlled unclassified information.

Which is part of the classification system... Like I said, if he did not share information that had been classified or to make it more clear for you, marked or designated within the system, then your argument falls apart around you...

CUI is utilized when providing briefings outside of DoD, like to Congress or other agencies...

Is your argument that there was not sensitive information in the Signals chat that was leaked? Just because they didn’t do their job and properly classify the info doesn’t mean it should be shared.

Just like with Hillary’s emails. None of it was properly marked and “in the system,” but it was determined that there was a shitload of info that should’ve been marked. To be clear, I think Hillary’s emails were a much bigger problem than the Signal leaks.

Your logic seems to suggest she did nothing wrong? I reject that.

They communicated via an approved app that was preloaded on their phones. Stop melting down.

The source(s) are being challenged, and rightfully so.

Assuming that the allegations of disgruntled former employees as fact doesn’t compute for me.

They better hope it is all lies and that it is provable, because they've now gone on record and confirmed that the NYT's sources are the employees who were fired last week. If Hegseth did do what is alleged and those individuals were fired due to speaking up about it (or threatening to), that's going to be a mess. The "fired because of leaks" line is going to have to work hard to cover the optics of that one.

Yeah, you're probably right. Creating a cover story and firing people because they were "leaking information" when in reality they were speaking out about your poor decision making as a leader isn't an issue at all.

Note: All of this is playing devil's advocate and coming from the point of view of this being proven true.
