I would not allow asylum seekers into the country. They need to fix their own country.

Which is why I supported the bi partisan immigration bill that funded more of these judges to hear these cases and sort the good from the bad from the illegal. We're currently looking at an overrun system, we need to add resources to help and then ensure the rules are set in our best interest.

Idk does this guy have a history from his own country? What's the story there? We have very few facts other than he's an immigrant and performed an abhorrent act.
I'm also not of the opinion that immigration will ever be 100% crime free. Nothing ever is. But we can use the failure to learn how to fix the system.

Yes I'd still want answers to how he got in exactly and why he was allowed in, and I'd want him punished as harshly as possible. None of that changes. I'd be more upset and emotional for sure but that's not a way to govern and legislate...

What is the difference? Does signing a piece of paper change the facts about where this guy came from, who he is, or how he got into our country. This guy would have been an illegal alien before libs coached them up to claim asylum.
Sad thing is that the "fix" for this asylum loophole is probably going to prevent legitimate asylum seekers from relief in the future.

The system isn't broken. We don't need new laws or more money out into the system. Immigration needs to be run same as when Trump was in office.
The Dems have made this problem so much larger, that unfortunately.... the best way to address it would be shutting down immigration until we get sort thru their mess and get a handle on it before we let one more person cross our border.
