At this point, at least some of this needs to be blamed on the federal government. Start getting warrants instead of detainers and then these local officials are violating federal law if they don't hold people.

Correct, because detainers are requests and do NOT have force of law, if the feds got warrants then if locals released those people they would be in violation of federal law.

Norwood would've beat her had the COA let the new annexed part of the city vote ( Emory)
The votes pretty much went along racial lines and gentrification is still going strong in other parts of the city.

In my town when they released the ice detainees from the jail all of the local hoas banded together and kept the illegals in our holding sheds until ice was able to come deport them. Let’s just say we got a lot of weedeating done in those 3 days

No doubt but I was pretty suprised the vote went along racial lines in the Dem primary.A candidate like Kasim would never win again (Im talking pre corruption)
