Not sure that would make much of a difference for me. He had back up and he was being threatened with a non lethal weapon. But under the law, it may have been justified.

If a taser is classified as a lethal weapon in Georgia like I’ve heard it is, it will be justified legally.
I’m still on the fence of it being morally justified, leaning to it being justified if he fired the taser.

1st - I don't like when officers shoot someone who is running away.
2nd - how motherfricking stupid is the world today that people think this guy was shot BECAUSE he was black?
Cops shoot everyone who overpowers them and takes away their taser and points it at them. 100% of the time.
Also, thank you national media and politicians for making young black men think they are being hunted by the police and making them think they need/should fight them.

In terms of legal use of lethal self-defense, pointing a weapon at someone and pulling the trigger are basically the same thing.
Once a weapon is pointed at someone, it is reasonable to assume that the person at whom the weapon is pointed is endanger of death or great bodily harm.
