Incredibly stupid take. Laws are meant to change and rehab behaviors. If the cops send him home safely then that guys is 100% going to repeat that. However, you stick him in jail for a day, take his license, make him spend $10K on a lawyer, I’m going to bet he thinks twice about driving drunk again.
