Here's a little story that might help explain where we are; have to 'read between the lines' though:
Guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, "Doc I'm worried that my brother needs help because he thinks he's a chicken."
Doctor says, "How long has he had this condition?"
Guy says, "About 10 years."
Doctor says, "10 years! Why'd you wait so long to tell someone?"
Guy says, "Because I need the eggs..."

hell, these behaviors in the 80s/90s led to the largest domestic terror attack in US history (OKC bombing)

They don't think they look like morons. They are willing to print any story and when it doesn't pan out, they don't see that as a failure in any way. It is just the source's fault for having bad intel. They probably keep using the same source. If the source is wrong, they don't see that as a negative on their reputation. They have ZERO and I do mean ZERO journalistic integrity.

BLM really did. I think most people critical of the cops were more critical of the nanny state regulations that widened the scope of the cops job to ridiculous levels. This was focused more toward the state than rank and file officers.
Then along comes BLM with the hyperbole that cops are literally executing blacks. That was and attack on rank and file officers, its not true. So many felt obliged to defend rank and file officers and criticisim of the government scope for their work got pushed to the back.

Those are propaganda outlets. The purpose is not to report news, it’s to fling mud at the opponents and see what sticks. There’s nothing for them to be frustrated or sorry about. They’re doing their jobs, but this batch of mud didn’t stick. On to the next!

I called the fake buzzfeed news story days ago. I warned they were on repeat and rinse.
I could have smack punched Hannity last night as he had Jay, one of Trump's lawyers spilling away and dumbassed mother fricker Hannity cut him off....ah ahhh what about this and bought for paid for by HRC dossier. DeGenova said it best. The only reason Honest Bob corrected buzzfeed and the entire media screaming for impeachment-- is Barr. Apparently Barr is Leroy Brown and they are all scared shitless of him.
Hannity had a point though with 46 pages of fake news stories just in 2017. It is repeat and rinse with the media like clockwork. (Usually their "orange man bad' story is debunked in paragraph 9)
This buzzfeed one had two FEDERAL law enforcement sources.
The media has NOT, I repeat not, learned their lesson-at all. Even AC was told they all look bad and he blamed Buzzfeed. I turned on CNN later last night and they were having small orgasms over Trump retweeting prayer rugs on the Southern border.
It is now clear that the MSM is done and fully exposed. Their actions of non-apology, no-shame. no-retractions of their breaking news BS; shows they don't GAF, their orders are to take down Trump.
The Bernstein guy that broke Watergate was guarandamnteeing Trump will be Impeached, it is a dark day...blah blah blah. No one with half of a brain will believe him again. But CNN will repeat the definition of insanity and have him and Dan Rather on like the gods of news.
The new talking point is the buzzfeed federal sources were from SD New York and not Honest Bob so Trump will be impeached and removed.
