At the correspondents dinner, did you catch who they "wanted to meet and talk to"

Oz asked them to think of a person living or dead, one person they would like to talk to.

I would have thought God, course that would have been to controversial.

The one conservative reporter said Winston Churchill.

The two liberal girls, one said Jack Keroauc (an icon of the "beat generation") and the other said Jerry Garcia.

I thought to myself, it explains why we are so far removed, I want to talk to God and you would rather chat with Jerry Garcia...................

Maybe Jesus. But God is not a person.

Who’d you buy that pouch with Jerry Garcia from? Berry Garcia?

No, I think it was Andy Garcia…

Yeah, it's sad. But these people aren't really any better than the Hollywood crowd. They have an incredibly over-rated sense of themselves, when really almost all of them are nothing but sellouts and willing little propaganda puppets.

They aren't even close to being true journalists. Their job is to appease their corporate media overlords, and that's exactly what they do.

Some of them just want to be rich and on TV. A lot of them are failed actors/ directors/ writers, etc.

Depending on who you ask, these may be one in the same.

God is not a human person. The Holy Trinity does not imply that.

But in the spirit of the OP, I won't belabor the point.

My list would be:

1. Jesus
2. George Washington
3. Imhotep (Designer of the early pyramids)

The Catholic Church does not imply that God is human. The Holy Trinity states that they are one being, but not a human person.

Jesus is the human form.

I’d want to talk to Jesus, Napoleon, and Julius Caesar.

You can talk to God anytime, if you want to.

The Catholic Church firmly upholds the truth that Jesus Christ is one divine Person with two natures: Fully human fully divine.

Hypostatic Union.

Jesus is truly God and Truly Human.
