I doubt blind auditions even had much to do with as much as a change in culture through explicit policy , direct instruction, or replacing people who caused that disparity.

i read the NYT article about the orchestras and it's entire argument is based in a strawman (that elite orchestral musicians are technically equal). once you "establish" that, then it's easy to say representation needs to reflect communities...but if that's not true...then...[uncomfortable]

I have to disagree with that article. The progressive left isn't something you laugh at, it's something you arm yourself against. If we want to keep our republic that is, if not then by all means allow them to continue unchecked and the republic will be gone soon enough. It really is up to us.
