These situations are always difficult to tell what is going on --
- I know the reflexive reaction is to think some career bureaucrat quit because he doesn't like how the new sheriff does business and is trying to change things.
- But, it's possible -- and I think this may have happened at DOJ -- that when you blow out career people out of fear they won't be loyal, you end up with incompetent clowns.
- I totally understand wanting alpha Pete to transform the tranny woke military, but it is possible that he has no idea how to run it (or at least doesn't know when to defer to other people).

I suspect these general got their stars under Obama/Biden/Austin and their idea of "Army transformation" is probably decidedly difference from Trump's or Hegseth's.
Thank you UD, just the point I was trying to make. He did nothing when the military was turned into a clown show, Pete is firing those who stood by and said nothing, and this guy, who got his appointment because of Vance is now whining.

You're full of shite that "no one in the military thinks highly of Hegseth or Trump."
That queer StayInsideMeForever literally pulled that out his arse.

No one?
I see absolutes used here frequently and it’s ALWAYS a terrible tactic. Foolish even.

FAKE news again.
We don't have a Defense Secretary.

Recruiting is exceeding expectations. The last administration had trouble making expectations. You be the judge.
So recruiting is what determines how good our military is? I thought it was making decisive victories on the battlefield, which this administration is yet to do, because they’re incompetent. Our military leaders do not like incompetence and neither should you guys. It makes us look weak.

Struggling to get people to enlist.....you really are an idiot.........
And guess what, they didnt have to lower the standards by promising every trans free surgeries, fat pigs who could not do a pullup, and illegals.
Imagine when someone projects a fighting force fighting men want to join.

Or
The old guard doesn’t like change & new blood is attracted to what’s going on
Guess which is the lifeblood of the military

Sorry I have to correct myself. No one in charge of our military thinks highly of this administration, which are really the only people that matter. I’m sorry this hurts your feelings but it’s true.
hahaha what a shameful backpedal.
but ok, who by your definition is "in charge of our military"?
Posted on 9/1/26 at 2:06 pm to hawgfaninc
The people in charge. It’s always the people in charge who are the lifeblood. They can make great decisions that make us look great, or they can make poor decisions (like this endless Iran War) that make us look incompetent.

Without new blood any organization dies
The old guard dies off
The old guard dies off

this is a perfectly reasonable post. i still think it's likely the first bullet, but like you said, it;s difficult to tell for sure.

No one gives a shite about recruiting. No one at the top in our military respects this administration. That’s a fact. This administration is a clown show militarily.
Well they are the ones who promoted the girly man, homosexual trans agenda. I can see why they would be mortified, hair toss, check the nails, with this new concept of an actual fighting force

Right. I'd really like to hear the guy's opinion on just what exactly he is disagreeing with about the direction of the Services under Hegseth.

I guess Flynn got in a twitter convo with the Griffin reporter. I haven't seen all the supposed backstory...

If he is complaining that his job is getting difficult because Hegseth is cutting out the bs.....we have a saying in the military, shut up and color and thats exactly what Driscoll should have done. You dont quit because your job become more difficult at the moment. You get it done to the best of your ability and push on. We are not here to coddle bitches.

It seems like new blood is making us more incompetent but you have a right to your own opinion.
