I’m not familiar with case as I live elsewhere and these cases all run together
So let me guess, was the “victim” resisting arrest and guilty of a crime?
Was he forcing officers to scuffle with him?
Did he get killed by officers in self defense?
Are democrats and obama defending an obviously guilty man?
Did the article quote Mom or family only?

And herein lies the main problem today: we are not judging people by the content of one's character, but rather by the color of his skin -- exactly as MLK, Jr. implored us not to do.
Remove the color of the skin in this incident, and it's clear (or should be) that Sterling was not of high character which led him to resist arrest (among many things). But the left has proven time and again they are basing their judgments only on skin color. White cop, black man killed means guilty cop for them. Point blank. Period. Nothing else need be considered.
This must have MLK, Jr. rolling in his grave, and not for the reasons the left would have you think.

It's almost like you live here and were intimately involved with the case
A quick synopsis: Cops were called to a store's parking lot around midnight due to a man matching Sterling's description threatening someone with a handgun.
First cop arrives and tells Sterling to place his hands on the hood of a nearby vehicle (since he may be armed). Sterling resisted, a scuffle ensues.
Second officer arrives and they try to subdue Sterling. Sterling is tased twice to no effect. Officer 2 pulls his firearm and points it at Sterling telling him to stop resisting or he will shoot. Sterling stops resisting for a few seconds then begins resisting again. Officer 2 re-holters his weapon as they both struggle with Sterling once again. They all fall to the ground, Officer 1 has Sterling's left arm restrained (gun is in the right pocket) but Officer 2 is unable to get the right arm restrained. Sterling's hand goes into his pocket (where the gun is), Officer 2 draws his weapon again while shouting that Sterling has a gun. Sterling continues to struggle, Officer 2 shoots and kills Sterling.
Tox reports (listed earlier in this thread) show Sterling was loaded up on all sorts of stuff, thus why the tasers failed and why he was so combative.
Prior arrest record (also listed earlier in this thread) show a history consistent with someone likely to resist arrest (he had already resisted in a previous encounter).

Nonsense, he was a good boy. On his way to help an old lady get to church when whitey attacked and murdered him for no reason.

Little more detail. Per Jeff Landry earlier. Sterling tased once. Drops to his knees for a few seconds and stands back up. Tased a second time, no effect. When shots were fired, Sterling got hit 3 times in the chest while on the ground. Sterling stands up after being shot those 3 times. That's when the fatal next 3 shots were fired.

Many are repeating over and over again how video evidence proves Alton was murdered. Isn’t there another video that makes it more clear he was reaching for his weapon? The taser attempts would be helpful too. Are those on video?
