A WNBA player and an ex-Marine who received a bad conduct discharge from the service. We are giving up so much for falling poll numbers. It’s disgraceful. I don’t know about the dude, but Griner clearly broke Russian law. If she were a random American this wouldn’t be happening.

Personally, I think it is stupid to trade ANY criminal for an American citizen that traveled to another country and broke its laws, regardless of whether it is an athlete with her THC oil in Russia or a college kid pissing on the sidewalk in Singapore or stealing propaganda posters from the Norks.
