Are we going to start closing schools for the common flu now?

Listening to Rush yesterday he played some sound clips of an interview a doctor did with some MSM clam.
Debating schools reopening he listed all of the western countries that have factual data the coronavirus is not dangerous to children and the death rate was or is almost 0.0%. Not dangerous in transmission to teachers either
But the common flu death rate among children was something like 4-5%
Why do liberals want to keep schools closed?

Only on election years when we are trying to justify ballot harvesting.....I mean vote by mail.

Yep, until common sense reigns again.
TPTB have already proven they won't use reason or science to inform their decisions. Everything that's in the interest of safety is automatically correct.

The biggest fear for a lot of health professionals is a mutated strand of Covid/flu with no possible vaccine/cure. Many that I know personally believe it will be more deadly than either of those two. Maybe it is just fear speaking but that's a worry for them and their community

Nah after the election this will all go away . Then in January 2024 it will appear again. It’s gonna be a common theme . Next time they will go after our guns . They just have to have the power first.

Mark my words. If they don't take the presidency or the senate they will absolutely push this into the mid-terms, or at least attempt to.

you keep school closed...parents or parent has to stay home...so no work means economy struggles...unemployment etc...you get it now
