1st step is to stop reading opinion pieces. Next step stop reading churnalism articles. Third step go to reuters.com and look at the headlines (don't read anything further), oil prices, the stock market. pretty soon you will realize that there isn't much newsworthy these days. That will be all you will need. Drink your coffee step outside for some fresh air and get on with your life. It will be refreshing.

What the truth is: "There's not much the MSM DemProgFilth want people to know about or discuss".

Keep "news" tightly focused around the agenda, don't allow peoples minds to wander off topic, and channel their attention onto only the assigned targets.

Can't have the populace spending capital, human or financial, on non approved agenda that might show progress and gain steam counter to the agenda.

Drudge doesn't even break stories anymore it is like he was hijacked. Sad as I remember when he broke many stories from Compuserve days.

I use the Conservative News app on my tablet (Droid) and it gives you all the conservative news you could ever want from all the best outlets.

You can remove Drudge in settings, which is what I chose to do. PJ Media, Breitbart, Newsmax, Townhall, Daily Wire, Daily Caller, Red State, Gateway Pundit, American Thinker .... they all feed the Conservative News app.

I removed The Blaze, Drudge, National Review one other.

This reads like a step by step manual on how to receive propaganda that matches one's preconceived notion on truth as a necessary step towards self-brainwashing.

Smartnews App allows you to adjust your news selection left right or center. It's alright, but what I really like about it is you can download all of the day's stories so you can read them on a plane even if you don't have WiFi.

I'm not sure there is a single entity that can be labeled news with a straight face in 2019
