I get it, there isn’t a 20 year track record for this vaccine. But no drug/treatment that gets FDA approval has that, and long term issues are found during phase 4 surveillance when large populations of people are already using said drug. Point being, LA, is that IF someone was going to have more trouble dealing with a Covid infection, it would be someone 65+ with a pulmonary comorbidity. In my honest opinion, and admittedly not an ID/virology/vaccination expert, you definitely should get it.

Hard pass. Never got Covid even tho I was exposed to many people who did. Or maybe I did get it and it wasn’t bad enough to notice. Either way, no fricking point of a vaccine that just reduces symptoms of a virus that never affected me anyway.

Unless you are 80+ years old and have serious underlying medical issues, your immune system is over 99.5% effective against the China Virus Hoax.
No vaccine you take gives you that kind of effectiveness.

The mRNA vaccine doesn't change your cells, it causes some of your cells to produce proteins that are identical to a specific protein found in the COVID-19 spike structure. Your cells only produce that protein for as long as they are exposed to the serum which only last a few days at most. At least do a little bit of research before spreading false propaganda.

Something that is starting to bother me is the all-out push to get folks vaccinated. Pres was on TV begging people to get it.
When we had polio and small pox, very dangerous contagions, you didn’t have to beg people. That should say something about how dangerous this thing really is.
If you want it and it makes you feel safe, get it. You’ll be fine, hopefully. Why the push to get me to get it?

No one in my house is getting it. My Mom is 71 and got both of her shots. My Dad is 72 and is a hard NFW. My aunt and uncle are both 80, have both of their shots, and are still terrified to leave the house.

Normally I do get the flu shot. And I didn’t get sick at all this year.
But I’m a bit conflicted. On the one hand the only reason we have this vaccine for the beer bug is because of Trump and his warp speed program.
But on the other hand, we have this jack arse who is pretending to be president telling us that we need to get it. That makes me not want to get it.
Maybe I’ll get it around mid summer. I’m in no hurry.

My wife has had both shots (Pfizer). I get my second shot (Moderna) on Tuesday afternoon. I cannot imagine NOT getting it.
