Local? KSTP out of St. Paul has been all over this story. There is an entire section of their website dedicated to the Fraud stories.

About the Shirley video of him going door to door to the “Learing” centers? Am I missing it? I went to the website and I’m not seeing it.

Again, neither one of these two “stories” is about the Nick Shirley

Where does your OP mention Nick Shirley?

I assumed it was understood, based on the breaking news of the past 24 hours, as well as the majority of stories currently on the front page of this site.

Subsequent responses I made in this thread specifically questioned the absence of the Shirley video in the news.

My apologies for the confusion. I guess Somali fraud is so rampant, its becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of which scheme we’re discussing.

Kids in the future should be reading about this in their history books just like we did for the teapot dome scandal, but I highly doubt they will.

The sign of a poorly-worded OP. You know you can go back and edit it, right?

And the Shirley stuff is both new and not exactly up to journalistic standards, so there will naturally be some lag from legacy media.

Have not seen a story on the Shirley video at KSTP, but they do have a section titled "What the Fraud?". So there is some amount of coverage on the subject.

Fair for now. Journalistic standards seems a bit lacking with the MSM in the last few years. It’s a serious allegation and on the surface, there appears to be substantial evidence. But the number of views is making this newsworthy alone. It would seem the MSM would want to cover this, either this kid is duping us, or Somali’s are duping Mn voters…

You need to stop searching with Google, FRFR.
DuckDuckGo searches for "USAToday.com Minnesota Fraud" returned a list of stories about it on page 1 from:

USAToday, USNews, KSTP news, the NYT, the LA Times, MPR News, AP News, Fox 9 Minneapolis, CBS News, and the Star Tribune.

That's page one. You don't hate Google enough.

Just from reading fools gold nuggets post history I would say that there is a high probability that OPs post is accurate.

But again, the fact that it’s not the leading headline is utterly bewildering.

It is not.
It's circling the wagons as the political philosophy is much more important and must be preserved at all costs.
Some might get away with this. And it is early but the personal wealth of politicians may be tied to this kind of stuff.

Nothing on CNN, just checked. MSM is the real enemy of the people, they poison the mids of the weak with false narratives and slander disguised as truth.

This is a CNN article from over a year ago about it.

As fraud scandals erupt in Minnesota on Gov. Tim Walz's watch, accountability is in short supply

ETA: not specifically about Shirley, but a lot of the premise of OP's statement is that the MSM just isn't covering the fraud. Who gives a frick about Shirley, Walz has been aware of this for at least a year, and hasn't done shite. And nobody cares.
