The second prosecutor, whose son worked for the same office as McMichaels, had declined to prosecute. Only when it was referred to the GBI did it change. And that only happened when the video leaked.

I trust you. You’ve earned it. Can you link this for me? It’s a bit different than what I read but that isn’t surprising.

An attempted illegal detaining with a gun. That make you feel better?

At no point does the DA say:

* Breaking and entering
* Theft
* Prior theft

Just an observation

He also does what many on here do in descibing the video, he starts his narrative in the middle in order to make Arbery look like the aggressor.

Arbery was running up the left side of the road and Travis was standing on the left side. We see Arbery turn hard right to avoid contact at which point Travis moves to cut him off, AGAIN.

Then Arbery turns hard left toward Travis AND instantly (before he touches the gun) BOOM! Shotgun blast #1 of 3.

DA is lying, cops lied an McRednecks lied.

Murder. Cover up.

He made repeated trips inside that house under construction ( if that was him). He wasn’t seen taken anything if that was him.
OK. Thanks.

I would guess that close to 100% of adults on this board have "trespassed" inside a house that was under construction. It's a FACT that 100% of Karens have.

Without a leaked video, the killing would have been swept under the rug. That's very likely racially-tinged whether you like it or not. It has nothing to do with an afternoon jog or Timberlands.

You can't tell these fools on this board anything like that. "But but but what about the white guy that was murdered by the black guy in (insert town name here)?! What about Jussie Smollett?!?" That about all you'll get.

Arbery instigated physical contact and was beating the guy with the gun.

At that point, the guy with the gun has a possible claim for self defense.

If he had shot Arbery as he was approaching the truck, or in the back if he had continued running instead of confronting the guy, that would be a clear cut case of murder.

You can argue the guys shouldn't have followed him. You can argue they shouldn't have been armed. But neither one of those is a crime.

The only crimes (trespassing, assault) were committed by Arbery.

This may be the ultimate "play stupid games" example.

Serious question...are you really this fricking stupid?

Just imagine if a black pair had sought to "detain" a good-looking Karen realtor after they caught her "burgling" a residence she shouldn't have been in. Would it have taken 2.5 months and a leak just to have CHARGES?

What in the hell was the guy in the back of the truck doing? If anyone sees their dad get into an altercation (right or wrong), Im pretty sure they would have jumped out of the back of that truck pretty damn fast.

That dude just stood there like he didnt know what to do
