SIAP,

Today I tried to find the date for Easter Sunday and realized it was not on my calendar on my phone. Did a quick google search and saw this article. I guess it’s just the next step from the left and everyone has no choice but to fall in line.

maybe it's an elaborate April Fool's joke.

I'm a die hard iPhone user and I love my iPhone X, but if Apple ever removed Easter, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, or US holidays like Fourth of July and Memorial Day; I would definitely switch over to Android.

It's on my phone, and they even put it before April Fool's Day.

I'm sorry brother. It's on mine, listed twice under family calendar and US Holidays.

Again? They must really hate Easter...almost as much as I hate Apple.

You can opt in and out of calendars. Just touch the word "calendars" at the bottom of the screen.

The things people find to be upset about...

Well I am not down with their rationale most likely if they did but Easter has Pagan roots all over it so they might be doing believers a favor in a roundabout way.

The option to add Christian holidays was taken out of the latest updates. All other religions are included on the manage option.

Easter Sunday shows up on version 11.2.2 of Apple’s iOS, but not on some 11.2.5 versions (the latest).
The default setting is for U.S. holidays, with an option to add Alternate Calendars (e.g., Chinese, Hebrew, Islamic).
Christian is absent from the list on iOS 11.2.5.
