Apparently New Orleans is rounding up homeless in the French Quarter - can anyone verify?

They have bigger problems than homeless people down there. Like the smell that would knock a possum over and piss, shite, and throw up in the streets

Isn't French Quarter Fest this weekend?

Might be a correlation if true.

Becoming extremely popular. It’s technically not the city but nonprofits are popping up in many metro areas offering to relocate homeless to other cities where they may have more advantages. They do however work with these metro areas to make sure the homeless are properly relocated.

Edit. - most are choosing locations on the west coast for relocation

Why? Isn’t NOLA a sanctuary city or is that only for illegals?

I love it. Should deport them to the sticks or Puerto Rico

Well I guess so when they're doing this:

This is just a band-aid approach. Kinda of like poisoning the fire ants on my property in hopes they'll move over into the neighbor's yard.

I’ve been 4 or 5 times and smelled and saw all of those things and have no desire to go back.

With the andouille festival around the corner, it’s harvest time.
