Yes, hold them accountable for guns and drugs left on the counter.
If my dog eats stuff I leave out, is that the dogs fault? No, ask your vet.be a parent to your child and a good example, it's not that difficult.
Take responsibility! Or don't have them.
But like all Republicans, they don't care until it happens to them

Raise your dumb kids right, and it won't happen to you. Be responsible. How many kids do you have?

None of them have ever been arrested
Homeowners
College Graduates
Married once (no divorce)
No alcohol problems
No drug problems
No financial problems
Would you like some instruction on how to accomplish that? Turns out my wife and I are very good at it.

No, like all Republicans we see school shootings as a tragedy. Like all left wingers you see school shootings as an opportunity to take rights away from people who were not involved, you don't give a frick about the victims.
Dark souls, you are

I think you definitely now have some kind of case for criminal negligence now if the kids used the father's gun. The father needs to be held accountable

What if he had used the father's kitchen knife or the father's car to kill someone?

Or, don't raise fricked up kids. I have three kids, ages 22, 20, and 17. They all have their own handgun as well as access to all of my guns. I leave my EDC on the counter when I come in. No one thinks anything of it. Why? Because they all were raised right and have some fricking sense. They aren't retarded. And, by the way, Republicans probably account for less than 1% of all shootings.
Idiot.

IF the FBI interviewed me and my son about threats he had made to shoot up a school and I assured them that hed have no access to the guns in my home....then he later used my guns to shoot people at the school he made threats about, id expect to be held accountable.
If I have a dangerous dog that got out and killed a neighborhood kid, id expect repercussions. If a kid I raised lives in my household, I share responsibility for his actions.

If the guns are in your home, your teenage kid can find a way to access them if he's determined enough.

Good luck cracking a good gun safe

Well id use some common sense and logic to assess the situation. You cant reasonably prevent a 14 year old from accessing a kitchen knife. If my kid had threatened to take my car and run people over, he would not even sniff access to my keys. Even so if I was a juror, id understand losing track of keys, as everyone does this.
A gun is different. You CAN lock away or hide a gun. You CAN lock away or hide ammunition. Also as reasonable people we should be able to look at situations independently and have discernment. A situation with a kid that has been identified and interviewed by the FBI is different than one where a kid is normal.
