Do you have to get an absolute majority or just a plurality of the votes to win?

If no one gets to 50.1% of the vote, a runoff with the top two vote getters will take place.

Bradley will endorse Tubbs, and Sessions screwed him by running after saying he wouldn’t.
Trump will also actively campaign against Sessions.

Sessions is basically the incumbent, if he polls under 40% tonight, he’s done.

I’m not sure but everyone I know voted for Byrne or Tuberville. And all of them had a very anti sessions attitude.

Sessions carried the blue hairs I bet. He looses a run off bigly.

Quickly looking at the county map Sessions is winning big in Madison, Coffee, and Dale counties. All 3 of which are huge government welfare cities. Not welfare as in poor folk but defense department.

After tonight we will see how much of a grudge Trump holds against Sessions. With the closeness of this race a trump endorsement of Tubbs would end Sessions.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've heard that Trump is very thick skinned and doesn't really value personal loyalty very much. He's not the type to seek out revenge against people who he thinks have wronged him.

Sessions is paying the price for rolling over a d recusing himself thereby opening the floodgates to 3 plus years of absurd Russia Russia Russia investigations. I will never forgive him for that.
