Voted Sessions.

According to Senate rules he'll get his seniority back.

This is the most honest statement of the night. As much as people bitch about the 30-40 year career swamp monsters and preach about term limits...of course they are talking about the swamp things from the other 49 states not the swampy sugar daddy from their state who drives the gravy train.

I don’t think this is correct.

And even if it was he’s old as shite so it’s not like his seniority will last long.

Donald Trump and my TX rep are the only incumbents I voted for.

Nope, but regardless, that doesn't change the problem I have with Tubberville: He doesn't appear to have an original thought. He simply campaigns on his supposed love for Trump. It's fine that he loves Trump, but I need to see him develop some original ideas about how he'll help Alabama or talk about ways that he has helped Alabama in his career. That's why I didn't vote for him today, and it's why I won't vote for him in a runoff.

In Alabama there is no other truer statement. We absolutely love our career politicians here, just not the other ones.

Voted for Tubs and Weld today will pull the lever for Trump in November (and tubs in the runoff) - I will probably vote Jones over the old Cow (Sessions) if it comes to it in the general.

Yep.

One of Trump's most astute observations is that "small government" and "controlling spending" are not the issues that really motivate and unify Republican voters. It's like how nobody goes to KFC because of the green beans side.

13% in on #ALSEN. Tommy Tuberville and Jeff Sessions are both at 34%. Bradley Byrne has inched up to 21%. Roy Moore is at 7.5% and I think it's safe to say he won't be making the runoff this year. #alpolitics

Twinkle is a transparent corporate shill compared to other Republicans in Alabama.

In a way, that's an accomplishment.

The thing we can all agree on is good fricking riddance to Roy Moore.

That man is batshit insane and has no business running for political office and putting house and senate seats at risk for conservatives.

Glad to see Alabama put that loser back in his hole.
