The majority of modern Jews are of European ancestry. Palestinians and other Arabs have lived there continuously in larger numbers.
If you think it's OK for jews to displace arabs in the ME because "they were there first", then you must think it's OK for native Americans to displace whites and blacks in North America. To think differently just because of the groups involved would be hypocritical.
