She almost had a point there but had to on that last bit. Yes the increase in crime could be linked to the economic depression but when she tried to sympathize with some of the shoplifters she lost it.

We’ve seen this song and dance before. AOC is a Marxist. Transforming criminals into victims of the ruling class is as old as Marxism itself. The soviets placed thieves and murderers into positions of power in the gulags because they were deemed “friendly to the state” because obviously they were only thieves and murderers because of the repressive bourgeoisie.
