If AOC had her way, all athletes would be paid by the State and all would get the same $. Her DEI ideology would demand it, lest she be a hypocrite.

Unfettered competition and self-reward has always been the best mechanism to promote, motivate and determine the best in a particular field. Albeit pure 'Darwinian economics' is highly problematic as individuals like Hunter Biden (and most of Congress) are able to exploit loopholes in the System for undeserved, unmerited gain. Like Lawyers who employ the letter of the law to subvert Justice; I.e., "if the glove don't fit...".

One may rightly assess a problem, but that don't mean it can be painlessly solved. Titanic being a prime example.

Surprise, surprise, huh? And the Dems are also responsible for the KKK and Jim Crow law in the south. And this is the part that stumps the hell out of me, why all the cries to dismantle the statues, re-name the streets, re-name the military forts, and simply wipe out anything that was connected to the confederacy? Were the democrats not connected to the confederacy?
I wasn't there, but I'm 100% confident it was the Republicans who kept this country together while freeing the slaves back then.
