It specifically mentions the importance of and their focus on social justice.
Christ did not advocate for an egalitarian State but he did preach that all humankind shares the same nature and the same origin. A core message of the Gospel is that humankind has equal dignity since we are made in God’s image and God endowed us all with rational souls able to be sanctified by Christ.
Yet Christ also vigorously fought to cleanse the Temple of false idolatry. So the question is, does the curriculum idolize the State or promote the message of the Gospel?

My Pastor got publicly attacked by someone who doesn’t even go to our church for something he liked on social media. What does it matter what he likes on social media? He never once brought politics into any of our services. If you don’t agree with what a pastor says or likes, don’t go to his church. Simple. However since the attack our pastor has pretty much bent over backwards and taken a knee to this SJ garbage.

Not saying it doesn’t happen, just haven’t seen it.
And the OP was about actual church services.
Bringing schools into it opens up a lot of other variables

We have it a bit with our current church leadership. We’re a reformed Bible Church. I could probably land at a reformed SBC Anglican or PCA church and be fine.
Our pastor of 30 years died last year from cancer. He never once got political from the pulpit but he was very conservative in his private circles.
I love our two new main pastors. One of them toes the SJW line but as far as I can tell remains solidly in the camp of the gospel in its pure form. Our other pastor is a good friend and leads a lot of the local mission efforts. Very genuine love for people and serves the community well. I support him fully and come along side him often.
His wife on the other hand... is fully steeped in SJWness and CRT. My wife is in a side text with his wife and some other women in leadership in our church that attended a black reformed gospel conference. Your typical suburban white women group. It started out really positive but after Trump got elected it got really political and they started bashing a lot of people for their Facebook posts and joking about beating up MAGA people. Some of the stuff was merited on people that definitely put their conservative politics over their faith. But their response is usually very venomous and completely unchristlike.
My wife was pretty caught up in it but realized these people hated other christians just as much as the people they were claiming to be against and rejected their line of thinking for the most part. That was a rough couple of years in our marriage.
My main problem with this pastor and his wife’s postings is that they only talk about race issues (which are very important) and bashing Trump in particular. I think he gives them plenty of ammo but they are dead silent about abortion, trans movement, child labor, sex trafficking, violent protests, or any other political matter. I personally don’t post anything political on my lone Social Media account because I think it can only divide. I have strong opinions about issues but I think they’re better served in one on one conversations where we can hear each other out and not talking points and zingers.
It’s a struggle because he’s a friend and I’m genuinely behind his efforts, but his wife is absolutely toxic right now and I know he supports her ideology.

Ok. Sorry. Misread it.
However, I haven’t seen it in our catholic schools either.

Can’t remember what happened, I think the Orlando shooting our preachers ( Nazarene) before his service said we may not agree with the world but we love believers, non believers, alike. We all sin and only God judges.

Our “CoC“ preacher stated about a year ago that ifsocial justice isnt one of your top 2 priorities as a Christian then you need to reconsider your Christianity.. i was like now whaaaaat?

This is the left wing preacher at Broadmoor now. Man I’m glad we left that nonsense

No, because then it would no longer be my church.

If they did, I would find a new church and or school.

That’s why it is so important for you to study scripture on a daily basis.
That way you know whether the preacher is preaching the Gospel or if he’s full of shite.

My ex cburch did that twice, once before St.George died and afterwards. Haven't attended since.

I miss the days when churches were thermostats instead of thermometers.

Not my church. Non-denom. One of the benefits of the non-denominational church is they don’t get tied into denominational seminaries that just go left over time. There’s obvious disadvantages as well. But that’s an advantage.
My daughter’s school (PCA) has some wokeness going on. But they’re largely kept in line by donors and board members.

Christians are supposed to be in favor of social justice.
Problem is the term "social justice" has been twisted and warped by cultural Marxists to mean the exact opposite of what you would expect.
Same Orwellian doublethink as the "Affordable" Care Act or the "Patriot" Act.

Social justice is overly focused on material. Guaranteeing equal pay to the neglect of spiritual well-being is the opposite of the Gospel.
