Proctor & Gamble reported earnings this morning, I had honestly forgotten about them. So let's see how they've been doing.
Oh that's pretty good.
Strong volume. Strong sales. Growth driven by a strategy of "superiority". I mean, that sounds good.
Looking good...
D'oh! Wait, continued?

Oh that's pretty good.

Net sales rose 1% to $16.46 billion, topping expectations of $16.37 billion.
"This is third quarter in a row of very strong volume, sales, consumption and market share growth being driven by a strategy of superiority," Moeller said.

Its strongest business units continue to be its beauty care business, which includes its premium SK-II skin-care brand and Olay. Fabric and home care and health care, which includes Crest toothpaste, also performed well.
Looking good...

Organic sales in its grooming business dropped 1%, compared with a 3% decline in the second quarter.

I'll be happy if 2Q and 3Q are the same going forward.

I accidentally gelleted the other day when I bought shaving cream.
I have never felt white guilt, but I did feel guilty about that

I grabbed some EDGE. They might be flaming progressives, but at least they have the sense to not rub it in my face

Isn't the point of the product for you to do that yourself?

I don’t know about edge. Where did they shut the bed in the public virtue signaling arena?

I started buying Harry's Razor, it's just a better product and cheaper. Really couldn't care less about that commercial just got tired of paying $15-$20 for a new razor

That's honestly their main issue. Most of their sales gains in other lines stem from price increases at the beginning of the year. The fact that razor blades are in anti theft cages now because they cost so much is absurd.

That's why I don't buy them anymore. I actually liked their commercial, but not enough to spend that much on razors lol

I don’t like political correctness and male bashing slipping into the culture through commercials.
I know Procter and Gamble owns Old Spice as well as Gillette, so I don’t know if I can make any meaningful statement with my purchase habits, but I do like Old Spice commercials and I wish they made a razor just so I could buy it instead of Gillette.
I saw this Old Spice commercial today:
Old Spice Body Wash

Conservatives and their boycotts of companies who take advantage marketing to the vast majority (the left) will eventually be left rocking back and forth naked in a barren room holding a gun and bible. You won’t be able to buy anything else

No joke:
Earlier that week, I had gone to Costco and bought the big arse pack of Mach 5 razors, cream, etc. Never opened it.
When we found out about the white man hating, the wife and I rounded up ALL gellette products in the house. Found more unopened items.
I was able to return them all to Costco and WalMart. Got over $70 back. Yay!
No more Gillette here.
