Trump thoroughly embarrassed and humiliated them.

This. The blowout tempered their reaction. Had it been as close as 2020 appeared then they’d be in the courts and the streets.

Uh, after the 2016 election, Republicans had 52 Senate seats and 241 House seats, aka, both chambers.

2016 Election Results

For some reason, now they want Trump to reach across and work with them. Just not sure why they would want work with a Racist, Nazi piece of garbage felon

And Biden saying he hopes Trump lowers the temperature was golden

They just want to claim anything better that 2020 as a victory.

Fine with me. Riots are bad.

They will still bitch about EVERY DAMNED THING HE SAYS. But they are taking the “it’s just 4 years” attitude.

Fix their own message and party. Hope Trump does little of consequence. Especially with Congress red and a Supreme Court that is red. If little gets done that’s a talking point for midterms and 4 years.

Media? They can’t help it. Every “gotcha” moment they think they have they will report. In some ridiculous hope they will. Be the next Woodward and Burnstein?? (Watergate guys names are hazy to me).

There is a schism between the out of touch but well funded far-left/ progressives and the liberals/moderately left centrists. Not to mention intra-party identity politics and finger pointing (women pointing at black men, black men pointing at Latinos, etc). Not to mention the fact that this administration is not worried about re-election AND a former Vice chair of the DNC who may or may not know all the dark secrets and was scorned by the Clinton wing of the party is now in the White House on the other side. The one area that the Dem party excels at is a top down approach to messaging and alignment. Right now it is unclear who will be at the top and which ideology will prevail so there is quiet because there is no instruction. Almost like insect hive having no guidance from a queen.

They realize more people support him than they thought, and this is after their stupid lawfare nonsense.

The media didn’t learn a darn thing from this blowout. They are double and tripling down on the hateful rhetoric. They know they are in their death throes.

The normal Dem on X is screaming to the sky about voter suppression. They can’t understand where the extra 20 million votes went. Of course, we are there with charts and graphs to help them to the logical conclusion that 2020 was stolen. They are slow learners, but some will get there.

They are also saying that Harris should not certify the election, that she has the right not to. We are also there with articles showing where the Dems closed that loophole in 2022 to make the VP’s role in this process ceremonial only.

Here’s the LINK to one, just in case you need it.

The politicians being quiet is disconcerting. I think they are stunned. I think they were prepared to lose the EC, but win the popular vote and argue that point as a reason to not certify. Now? My gut says that they are spending equal time trying to figure out their next move while simultaneously packing to leave the country before REAL justice comes for them.

Democrats know they lost both popular and electoral. I know the board won’t believe it but I think they don’t want to be hypocritical and conceded the election. Kamala conceded so why not honor the election process?

Not saying they won’t try and block some project 2025 stuff if Trump tries, but that is also the democratic process.

When Trump completely clears house in the federal bureaucracy and starts going after the people that went after him for the better part of a decade they will cry fascism. They will say “that is exactly what Hitler did.”

They will use his mandate against him. Every move he makes will be “unprecedented.” They will push for violent protests. And, eventually, once again, impeachment.

They will seek out a response from the right. Lest we forget what they’ve done. Get ready.

Since Trump won. The dems are saying how want to make this transition to be civil and easy for Trump? Idk if they have something up their sleeve or they’re scared shitless. It’s suspicious. This will not go over my head.

They have no power. They are wanting the Republicans to “reach across the isle” because they lost, and if the whips can keep the stragglers in line, the next two years is a Republican bill passing party.

When they win… all of the sudden “it’s a mandate from the people” and they do what they want.

They need two years of bending the knee now after 4 fricken years of Biden ushering in illegals and endless lawfare.
