Instead of dribbling out these idiot kneelers here and there for the rest of the season he ripped the band-aid off and sorted it out in less than 7 days.

Under budget ahead of schedule

And on the seventh day our god emperor rested

You sure about that? He got one of the whitest people in America, Jerry Jones, kneeling. Now it's all we hear about.

That's a win?

And booed. It was more of a let's find out what everyone thinks rather than drag it out and have ESPN talking heads tell everyone how they supposedly feel about it for rest of the season.

I'll bite.

Did he win? Sure. It was a non-issue and he stirred it up, threw his base some red meat, and ultimately has the NFL capitulating. I kind of enjoyed watching all the hand-wringing and I always love a good culture war fight.

That being said, I was kind of hoping for some sort of healthcare win. Instead, we're what...0 for 4 now? The whole "pump up legislative action, fail, divert attention to something pointless" deal is getting old. He's clearly good at rallying the troops and putting the heat on people/groups/organizations, why is he wasting that energy on stupid shite like the NFL? Give me something tangible.

I hope for Tax Reform and Infrastructure he can feed the GOPe and Dems some:

Healthcare change will be exclusively GOP, need to drain some swamp first though.

How much time did he spend on the NFL?

I don't know, but sending a couple of tweet takes maybe 30 seconds. Who knows what phone calls and meetings he had throughout the day regarding issues around the world

Time spent doesn't matter and even then the whole NFL deal kicked off at a rally for a primary in fricking Alabama. The NFL issue dominated headlines and you're crazy if you think Trump didn't know it would.

A tweet takes 30 seconds? True, but it will dominate headlines for a couple days. He knows this shite.

The man is a master of media and instead of traveling to states with senators on the fence about Graham-Cassidy, he's at a rally for a primary in Alabama.

He can't say, "FIRE THOSE SONS OF BITCHES! oh yeah......healthcare!" and expect to get support for the healthcare bill. He shite the bed royally on this one.
