Going back to Bush 41, who is the first president I remember, I've never felt like we didn't have a leader who could lead the nation if shite went down.

Now, completely irrespective of policy, party, ideology, I feel like we don't have competency at the helm; like we don't have a president at all.

It's a feeling, based on trumps rhetoric and disposition. Nothing tangible I can really point to. But calling media the enemy of the American people and continuing to talk about electoral votes and other irrelevant shite is part of it.

Not in the least. We went 8 years with a guy apologizing and bowing to everyone and behaving like a dog that got caught shitting in the house.

I love every GD minute of Trump. I love anyone who won't back down to the lying press. And I love a president who LOVES our country instead of hating it.

Trump is a breath of fresh air after being stuck in a shite filled port-o-potty for 8 years.

That's exactly how the media wants you to feel, mission accomplished.

True. If Hillary were President we know how she would handle a crisis. She would stumble, fall, hit her head against a chair and assume room temperature. Then Kaine would take over. Now there's a leader.

I don't watch news, I read from multiple sources and this is based on things he's actually said, not someone else's spin.

You need to use the past tense 'we didn't have a leader.' For the 8-year period preceding Jan. 20, 2017 that was certainly the case. Absolutely NOT the case since that date! You may just have forgotten the definition of a leader and what having a real leader feels like. That's ok, it will come back soon enough!

Did you start a thread about this under 8 years of BHO?

Just curious.

I voted for Nixon in the elementary school elections. I recall specifically something about his plan to create a national standard for dispatch of ambulances. Even though the damn Watergate hearings kept interrupting the regularly scheduled programs, I never got the impression that he wasn't a qualified President. Same for every president since, EXCEPT TRUMP.
