As Minority Leader should be primaried immediately. The worst, most useless Senate leader in American history. Likewise, no one in the current House leadership should be Minority Leader in the new Congress.

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

Thune. Jeffries. Schumer. Same same. Same same.

Any exit polling on him? Was he as galvanizing as tariffs and corruption?

Doesn’t matter who the minority leader is, democrats are going to drag their balls across republicans come January.

The Senate elects it's leadership positions without the president being involved.
Other than trying to encourage or discourage the members of their own party, that's about all a president can legally do.
There are of course illegal means that a president can influence members of their party (ask the DNC) .

There were so many of us that were opposed to him being voted Majority leader when he was elected.
And so far he has done very little to prove those objections wrong.

The guy who thinks saying “Christ is King” is antisemitic? Yeah, he can either frick all the way off or take a permanent vacation to Cancun this time so we never have to see his ugly face again.

As I recall, Trump came out in support of John Thune when he literally didn’t need to, and people like Rick Scott, who were running and better positioned to articulate a MAGA message, got shafted.

One usually has to be proactive in trying to move the needle in some manner to generally be considered galvanizing.

Thune was only proactive in the art of doing nothing.

Probably. It makes no sense that he didn’t even try to pass it. That tells me to follow the money.
