Maybe Don, Jr and Tucker can persuade Trump to push for Rand.

Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky says he'll vote in favor of a resolution to terminate President Trump's national emergency declaration with regards to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Paul said. "We may want more money for border security, but Congress didn't authorize it. Under the declaration, Trump would divert $3.6 billion from military construction to erect more border barriers.

In addition to Paul, three other Republican senators have said they’ll vote with Senate Democrats on a resolution terminating the declaration — Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, and Susan Collins of Maine.

As far as the ones who could realistically get it barring Trump basically forcing it?? Rick Scott is probably the best option we can hope for.

I say hold it until the new Senate seats but no way should it be a Cornyn or Thune. Both of them are P'sOS!!

That would freak out the left.

Rand won't be a rubber stamp for Trump. That's what we need.

Hawley should absolutely be in consideration. Basically any of the few senators who voted against the $61 billion for Ukraine earlier this year. That vote should be the main litmus test. It separates America First from the Uniparty.

Rick Scott was a good governor. I think he'll be a good SML.

Barrasso (Wyoming) is a veteran fundraiser, does a lot of travelling to help candidates, is from a safe deep-red state, and, AFAIK, doesn't have intra-party drama.
Also, he is a physician.

Rand would almost certainly be the GOAT SML. Dude is a machine and among the most staunch, principled politicians in America.

Rand sometimes pisses off the party because he votes his principles before the party.

Unfortunately…no. Still to many swampers in the Senate. The fact that Cornyn is probably the leading candidate is all you need to know.
