I had an ex in college who’s older sister worked for the fbi she was primarily worked in Bangladesh. I never met her once and she hardly went home to see her family in Georgia. It was really weird.
Wish I would’ve had the chance to meet and talk to her.

No, but i have a family member that works for the State Treasury Department. Him, his wife, and my cousins are super liberal. It hasn’t been awkward the last 8 years, but i fear it may be this year. MAGA!

I have a first cousin that is CIA , lives in M Virginia and he’s as much of an Obamabot as there is. His younger brother is a Trump loyalist working man that lives in Indiana . I don’t know them very well so I just hear this stuff from my Mom.

I know my share of federal agents and OGA bubbas. They.re all remarkably normal, patriotic people who work to pay the mortgage like most everyone else. They all (yes all) think Trump is an idiot and a blowhard who almost certainly had more connections to Kremlin proxies than he'd like the public to know about, but they don't spend all of their time glued to news sites and blogs that feed their worldview or obsessing over the President like Trumpkins do.

All the 14s I deployed to Afghanistan with in 2010 are 15s or SES types now, good people. Mostly DIA.

I have a workmate who retired from military intelligence a few years ago. He still has contacts that he talks to. We've had a lot of interesting conversations. I'd love to know the shite he knows but can't talk about.
