I know my share of federal agents and OGA bubbas. They're all remarkably normal, patriotic people who work to pay the mortgage like most everyone else. They all (yes all) think Trump is a genius, but they don't spend all of their time glued to news sites and blogs that feed their worldview or obsessing over the President like liberals do.

My college roommate/best man in my wedding joined the FBI as a special agent at 34 years old after being an Emmy award winning TV editor. He has done surveillance for a few years, and of the 20 FBI agents he mostly works with, they are almost all Republican and they almost all love Trump. This is in the NYC area too.

He was in the military for a good many years before his current gig and spent a lot of time on deployment so theyre used to it. They facetime a few times a week and he gets a couple of weeks off every 3 or 4 months. He flies home or she meets him somewhere.
