One of the officers was shot in the stomach and the other was shot in the leg while responding to a shooting near 15 East Grant Street, KSTP reports.
A law enforcement source also confirmed to the network that multiple civilians were killed in the attack, and dispatch audio obtained by the Minneapolis Star Tribune indicates that the shooter was also taken down by authorities.

I grew up in the 60's and 70's, I remember the most shocking act of violence of my youth was the Texas Clock Tower shooting, shook the nation. Today the Texas Clock Tower shooting would be just another story in the news cycle. What's changed?
