A communist will never understand the free market.

So, because their lines were too long and had the best customer service to all people, they got booted?

Continue on, you pathetic little troll.

Coming from you, that's a term of endearment. You're part of the freak show from the regressive left.

The free market would allow Chic-fil-a to open a restaurant in the airport and then let the patrons decide if they wanted to patronize it. The government deciding to ban them from the airport is in no way, an exercise of the free markets.
the airport doesn't have space for every fast food restaurant and vendor out there. Therefore it's perfectly reasonable that CFA might not be granted one of the spaces if it isn't what the airport board wants to be there.

This is why business owners should not take political sides unless they are willing to accept the bad with the good.

The San Antonio ban is due to the city council. That's not a free market reaction no matter how badly you want it to be.

It appears someone else did not read the article before commenting. I will make it a little easier on you. The second paragraph of the article. The Assemblyman’s twitter rant was much longer though.

quote:

While the fast-food chicken restaurant had already been approved by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) and hospitality management company Delaware North, a local assemblyman did his part to stop any future plans. New York Assemblyman Sean Ryan slammed the NFTA on Twitter, saying it was “disappointing” the airport would allow a restaurant that “has a long history of supporting and funding anti-LGBTQ organizations.”

NFTA DID want Chick-fil-a in the airport initially. On top of that, every Chick-fil-a location that has opened in New York has been very successful, so the New York public as a whole has no problem with Chick-fil-a.

BUT THEN a New York Assemblyman went on Twitter to publicly shame NFTA for the decision to allow Chick-fil-a in the airport. Then wouldn’t you know, NFTA decides to ban Chick-fil-a from the airport.

This was an attack by government on a business solely because of the business owner’s PERSONAL religious beliefs.

You consider the natural state of the world as being backward?

She subscribes to a philosophy based on equality and egalitarianism. Therefore, the "natural state" of things would be backwards and unsuitable.

The democrats aren't on a slippery slope, they are on an Olympic ski jump lately.

If the idiots actually got power and tried the silly bullshite they have been spouting they would utterly destroy the country.

Fortunately up to now most of their politicians have merely been in "public service" to get rich like the feinsteins and clintons and gores but these new ones are real nutjobs.

I agree, but the “good and bad” should come from the people deciding to patronize your business or not. The “bad” should not come from the government attacking a business because they do not agree with the owner’s personal beliefs.

It is alarming to me that so many do not grasp the implications and precedent being set by what is going on with this.

Anyone supporting the suppression of religious beliefs as stated in the Constitution should be banned from Airports too if you look at it that way.

Maybe my city supports the Free Exercise clause and won't allow anyone that doesn't to be a vendor in our airport.Open Pandora's box boys.

No, government coercion forcing a private person to perform labor against their will is not reasonable in any situation.
