One of my biggest criticisms of Trump's foreign policy is that this wasn't done years ago. He ran as an anti-war/peace through strength candidate, then turned around and gave the MIC $3 trillion over the course of his presidency with a long, exaggerated drawdown from the Middle East.
Iraq should have been empty by March 2017.
Afghanistan should have been empty by June 2017.
He's the fricking CIC, not Mattis or Kelly or McMaster or Bolton. Would have gone a long way toward verifying his populist credentials and winning over otherwise reluctant voters.

Even then some Islamic Sunday school class composed of some youngsters who survived gonna get a little overzealous and angle into the extremist zone, and grow and grow and grow and before you know it....bam, Islamic extremism is back in business. Just can't snuff out an "idea" like that.

I can think of a lot of places overseas we can come home from, right NOW.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Probably South Korea (they can defend themselves) anywhere in the Middle East, bring them ALL home.
